Summer ’17 Updates

I’ve been very busy working on the site redesign of CertifiedOnDemand.com – you can check it out now @ http://beta.certifiedondemand.com/.  The framework for the site is there and includes completion tracking, favorites, tons of new content, and lots of other cool stuff.  I also haven’t forgotten about current site content which has been updated to reflect the Summer 17 release.  Changes include:

  • User Interface: http://classic.certifiedondemand.com/user-interface/
    • Hide Option to Switch to Salesforce Classic
  • Lead Conversion: http://classic.certifiedondemand.com/configuring-salesforce-lead-conversion/
    • Updated information about which records are carried over during lead conversion
    • Updated for Lightning Experience
  • Data Management: http://classic.certifiedondemand.com/importing-manipulating-salesforce-data
    • Import wizard now supports external IDs
  • Fields: http://classic.certifiedondemand.com/fields/
    • Global picklist options updated
  • Release information updated: http://classic.certifiedondemand.com/getting-certified/

The beta site does not accept my login credentials. I’m logged in to the current site, do I need to do something to get logged into the new site?

Hey Judy – you will need to register separately on the beta site (your credentials from this site will get migrated when the final site is live)

At a quick glance, new site looks really great – nice & slick… if just getting back into studying (I took a hiatus and am basically starting over), can we use the new site only or do we still need to go through everything on the old site until you are fully complete on the beta site? TIA

The sections that are available in the beta- I would use those. For other sections, I would go ahead and use the current site (which has been maintained and is up to date, but the material is not as robust as the beta). Thanks for the feedback 🙂
