I’m new to the group. I just decided to change career and planing to start by self studying and taking the salesforce admin exam. Is there anyone who is interested in studying together or knows how to go about it and/or Meet up in MD

I have purchased the $40 access today. I am planning to take the Admin certification next month. (Winter 2016).Will you be updating the existing content ?

Yes but I don’t have a firm date on when. I would definitely review the winter 16 release notes prior to the exam. Good luck!

Hi John.. Just wanted to check on when you are planning to finish updating content for Winter 16?

  7. mhunterSFDC November 14, 2015 at 2:11 am #

Video references Salesforce Touch… that’s a 2013 feature. Should be talking about the release of Lightning circa 2015-2016. Don’t walk into a meeting and mention SF Touch for any currently aspiring admins.

Thanks for the feedback – I’ll look at updating this content with the Winter 16 updates.

Wow! Even with some Salesforce experience, watching this video really helped me get a better understanding. Plus the author does a great job explaining. Great clip!

John, great video. I”m sure it’s a challenge to keep up with all the new stuff that’s been coming out. In the video you mention Salesforce Touch for Mobile. Now with Salesforce1 out there, your video needs a refresh. Just an observation … I totally get that it’s tough to keep up with all of the changes in a timely manner.

Very true – I may revamp the video series when I have time next. Salesforce1 is referenced in the mobile section but does need to be updated in the overview as well.

I heard Salesforce Touch during the video, please change it to Salesforce1 the next time you update the video.

    Thanks.
