FYI Questions 1 and 2 should be updated to reflect the new name for Salesforce1!

    Hi

I thought Opps could be sync as it allows creation of Leads, Contacts, Opps and Cases…does it not?

After your quiz, I have understood it now that Salesforce for Outlook allows you to only see related Leads / Opps..

A side panel can show opp info, but that’s different than sync (which create the data in outlook, e.g. a contact)

What can be done with Mobile lite?(Salesforce lite)
    1. Viewing of standard objects
    2. View and manage campaigns
    3. View and manage custom objects
    4. Search for a record that was not previously downloaded to the mobile.

I think it is wise toselect 1 and 4….Thoughts?

    [QUIZ SPOILER]
You say that Outlook for Salesforce can’t synch with Opportunities, but in the video, “Using the Salesforce Side Panel to Work with Records in Microsoft Outlook”, it shows them doing so…I’m confused…which often happens. LOL

That’s a good question- yes they are working with Opportunity records, however they aren’t synchronizing the data represented locally in Outlook (for example, creating a contact in Outlook from a contact in Salesforce).

Just thought I’d share this link (https://help.salesforce.com/apex/HTViewHelpDoc?id=outlookcrm-sys-req-htm&language=en_US). MS Exchange Server and IE are required for Salesforce for Outlook. IMAP and POP3 email servers aren’t supported.

Casting my vote for more questions in the quizzes – particularly where there’s only one of them like this section.

This is a very small portion of the exam (2%) – I will definitely consider adding more questions to some of the smaller sections in the guide.
